- [Narrator] The following video will show the installation and features of the Kimerbly-Clark Professional Mod Electronic Module. Always wear appropriate protective gear and follow all safety regulations and procedures. See the product insert for additional information and warnings. Remove the Module and its associated parts from the container, and dispose of packaging materials appropriately. Prior to installing the module in the dispenser, the roll holders need to be attached to the module. The left and right roll holders are not interchangeable. The left roll holder is identified by the black circular hub. With the roll holder ears facing outward, grasp the roll holders and insert straight down into the mounting slot, until the roll holders snap into position. Disregard the following step if the module will be installed in a stainless steel cabinet. The door switch extension should only be used in plastic cabinets. To install the door switch extension in a plastic cabinet, begin by removing the small screw from the side of the module as shown. Place the door switch extension over the hole, and then attach using the screw previously removed. Before the module is placed into the dispenser, remove any shipping materials. To install the module, align the module with the mounting rails located in the back of the chassis. Tilt the module as shown, and lower until the module snaps into place. Once properly installed, the module should be fully seated and resting on the bottom shelf of the housing. If a gap is visible, remove the module and repeat the installation process. For purposes of this video, the dispenser door has been removed. To load the batteries, grasp the two battery tray tabs and depress inward. Rotate the tray down and install four new D-cell alkaline batteries, following the polarity symbols shown at the front of the tray. Close the battery tray to activate the dispenser. The Kimberly-Clark Professional Mod dispenser system combines a color coded core plug and matching roll holders. Only core plugs and roll holders with matching colors will work together. To load the dispenser, place the roll of paper with the core plug facing to the right roll holder. Thread the paper by placing the tail of the paper under the white transfer roller and press the feed button. Close the cover, and the dispenser is now ready for use. The module is equipped with a stub roll feature to provide continuous dispensing of product. This will aid in your sustainability efforts by assuring maximum consumption of every roll. When the paper roll is approximately the same diameter as the roll holder flange, the roll may be removed to the stub roll position. Without unthreading the roll of paper, remove the paper from the primary roll holders and place the roll down into the stub roll tray. Place a new roll of paper in the primary roll holders and bring the paper tail under the transfer roller and secure to the center stake. The new roll of paper will not start dispensing until the stub roll is depleted. The electronic module is equipped with several options to customize the dispensing features. There are two operating modes. In the hidden mode, the user waves a hand underneath the dispenser, at which point a towel is dispensed. In the stadium mode, a towel is dispensed and ready for users to tear. The sensitivity setting is only used in the hidden mode and provides three sensor levels as measured from the dispenser throat to the user's hand. The sensor activation point can be adjusted from two to four to six inches. The delay between dispensed sheets can be adjusted in half-second intervals, from one half to one and one half seconds. The sheet length can be adjusted at 8.3, 11.4, or 14.3 inches. The Module is equipped with several flashing indicators to advise of service needs. Flashing yellow indicates low product or out of product condition, and also indicates the point at which the stub roll can be transferred. Two rapid red flashes, followed by a delay indicates a paper jam or other service need. Alternating flashing red and yellow indicates low batteries, and solid red indicates a battery that should be replaced immediately.
